IndusInd Bank, along with IDFC Bank, is known for offering several rewarding credit cards, especially for users who enjoy golfing benefits. Many cardholders may remember that around the same time last year, the bank announced changes to its golf program for credit cards. Now, a similar revision to the golf benefits has been introduced once again.

Starting 10 March 2026, the number of complimentary golf games and golf lessons available on eligible credit cards will be revised. The usage will now be capped at the customer level, and these limits will apply across all participating golf courses.

Bottom Line

With the revised structure, several IndusInd Bank credit cards will see a reduction in their complimentary golf benefits. Cards such as the IndusInd Indulge Credit Card, IndusInd Legacy Credit Card, IndusInd Crest Credit Card, IndusInd Celesta American Express Credit Card, and IndusInd Pioneer Private Credit Card will experience either lower monthly limits or the removal of certain privileges like unlimited access or international golf benefits.

While the bank continues to offer golf privileges across many of its premium cards, the updated limits reduce the overall value for frequent golfers who previously enjoyed higher or unlimited access. Cardholders who regularly use golf benefits may now need to plan their usage more carefully under the new capped structure.

I dont think this is legal in my opinion. They upgraded my card by asking me to spend Rs 1 Lakh more and by saying that the card comes with unlimited golf games for life. Now after taking the money and in just a year’s time they have changed [updated] their terms is not correct. Especially after accepting this Rs 1 Lakh and offer unlimited games. It cannot be legal for them to do go back on their terms like this.
