Being the largest private sector bank in India, the HDFC Bank has become one of the most trusted financial institutions among Indian customers. Along with all its banking services, HDFC Bank is also very popular for issuing a lot of credit cards with exclusive advantages over different categories. The Millennia Credit Card issued by HDFC Bank is one of the most popular cashback cards in India, and another card that is very similar to Millennia is the HDFC Bank Regalia First Credit Card. The very first factor that makes the customers get confused between these two cards is their annual fee. Both these cards have an equal yearly fee of Rs. 1,000. However, the Millennia Credit Card is a cashback card, while the HDFC Regalia First Credit Card is a rewards card.

Bottom Line

The HDFC Millennia Credit Card & the HDFC Regalia First Credit Card might seem to be very similar to individuals. Still, after comparing each of their features, you might have understood that there are a lot of differences between the two cards. It is true that the annual fee of both cards is exactly the same. But you have to compare them on the basis of their features.

If you are someone who spends a lot on Amazon, Flipkart, Zomato, Swiggy, etc, the Millennia Credit Card will be a better choice for you as it provides you with a 5% cashback on all these brands. Other than that, the Regalia First Credit Card also allows you to earn thousands of bonus reward points every year, but the Millennia Card doesn’t. But, it is also equally valid that the HDFC Millennia Credit Card is better if you want to save more on your spends. So, you should analyze your spending behaviour and make a decision only after that.

Earlier, the Regalia First Credit Card used to carry complimentary lounge access, which has now been discontinued from the 1st of December 2023. You can still avail of complimentary lounge access four times a year within India with the HDFC Bank Millennia Credit Card, but this too can be availed if you spend Rs. 1 lakh in the previous quarter.

Can you provide more details on the specific partnerships or collaborations that make these benefits stand out on each card because there are only dining and travel benefits that are more considered.
