Apple unveiled iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max at a virtual event held on September 14. All the models of iPhone 13 will be available for pre-orders in India starting September 17 (5:30 pm IST) and will be available for sale in the retail market from September 24. This is the first time that iPhones are available for pre-orders for Indian buyers before the official release date.
HDFC Credit Cards Cashback offer on iPhone 13:
Apple’s official reseller in India, Ingram Micro has tied up with HDFC Bank to offer exclusive cashback benefits to HDFC credit cardholders on pre-booking any of the iPhone 13 models with their HDFC credit card. iPhone 13 price in India ranges from Rs. 69,990 for iPhone Mini (128 GB) to Rs 1,79,900 for iPhone 13 Pro Max (1TB). With HDFC credit cards, you can avail a cashback of Rs. 6,000 on iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini (all variants) and Rs. 5,000 on iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max (all variants). Thus, if you own an HDFC credit card, you can get hold of an iPhone Mini at an effective price of Rs 63,900. HDFC iPhone 13 Cashback Offer Terms & Conditions-
- Offer is applicable on pre-booking iPhone 13 (all models) on Amazon, Flipkart or official Apple Reseller stores.
- The offer is applicable only during the pre-booking period, i.e. from 17th September to 23rd September.
- The offer is applicable on both EMI and non-EMI transactions. However, a processing fee of Rs. 199 is charged for converting the purchase into EMIs.
- The offer is valid only for 1 transaction per credit card during the offer period.
- The iPhone must have been purchased at least 90% of the MRP to be eligible for the offer.
Additional Reward Points or Cashback via HDFC SmartBuy:
Apart from the cashback offer mentioned above, you get additional cashback or Reward Points if you purchase iPhone 13 (any model) from Amazon or Flipkart via HDFC SmartBuy.
Amazon Offer-
If you purchase iPhone 13 from Amazon using your HDFC credit card you’ll earn 5X Reward Points (on Infinia and Diners Club Black credit cards) or Bonus Cashback (on other HDFC credit cards).

Final Thoughts:
This is the first time that Apple is accepting pre-orders for iPhones from Indian buyers starting the same date as in the US, UK, Australia and over 30 other markets. Although we expect more offers from both card issuers as well as e-commerce websites like Amazon and Flipkart during the upcoming festive season, if you’re an Apple fanboy, it might be too long a wait for you.
If you’re planning to pre-order an iPhone before the official release date (September 24), HDFC credit cards can certainly save you a good amount of money.
