IndiGo and EazyDiner Devalue BluChip Earnings on Dining Spends

These days, several popular platforms offer partner rewards that allow users to earn airline miles, hotel points, or loyalty rewards on their everyday spending. For example, Swiggy users can earn IndiGo BluChips or Marriott Bonvoy points, while Air India and Zomato previously had a partnership that rewarded customers through the Maharaja Club program.

However, many of these partnerships have undergone changes since their launch, and the latest one to see a devaluation is the IndiGo-EazyDiner partnership.

Same Bill, Fewer BluChips IndiGo Cuts EazyDiner Reward Earnings

IndiGo and EazyDiner have revised the reward-earning structure for BluChip members, resulting in a significant reduction in rewards earned on dining spends. Under the revised structure, members will now earn 1 IndiGo BluChip for every ₹250 spent on table bookings and payments made through EazyDiner. The new earning rate came into effect on 1st June 2026.

This is a notable change from the earlier earning structure, where members received 1 IndiGo BluChip for every ₹100 spent through EazyDiner, making dining rewards considerably less rewarding than before.

Bottom Line

IndiGo and EazyDiner have reduced BluChip earnings from 1 BluChip per ₹100 spent to 1 BluChip per ₹250 spent, effective 1st June 2026. The change results in a 60% drop in rewards earned on dining transactions through EazyDiner. While members can continue earning BluChips on eligible dining spends, the pace of accumulation will now be significantly slower.
