CheQ has collaborated with AU Small Finance Bank to introduce India’s first co-branded LED. The CheQ AU Credit Card has a special LED feature that lights up during tap-to-pay transactions, giving users instant visual feedback. CheQ used to handle credit card bill payments, but in collaboration with AU, they have entered the credit card business, offering the audience a brand-new credit card.
The CheQ AU Credit Card is a rewards-focused credit card that offers accelerated rewards on travel, dining, online shopping, and utility bill payments. It is available as a lifetime free credit card, while users who opt for the unique LED-enabled version will have to pay a fee of ₹999 + GST.

- You must be over the age of 21 years.
- The monthly income requirement for both salaried and self-employed individuals should be ₹25,000.
- You should have a credit score of 750 or above.
- Your residency should be in an AU Bank serviceable area.
Bottom Line
The CheQ AU Credit Card looks like a fresh and slightly different option in the market, mainly because of its LED feature. It is a good option for people who spend a lot online, especially on platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, food delivery, and travel.
The reward system is decent, but the real value depends on how you redeem the points. If you use them for travel or shopping, the value is better, while using them for bill payments gives a lower return. The annual fee is reasonable for new credit card users and can be waived.
However, if you already hold an AU First Bank Credit Card, then you can not apply for this credit card, but if you don’t hold any AU card and you already use the CheQ app and spend a lot on online shopping, food, and travel, this card can be useful.

Is it worth getting the card with light with the charges applied?

If reward rate is ₹0.5 for 1 cheq coin and you get 24 coin per ₹200 spent on Amazon. Then you get 12 coin per ₹100 spent. And after converting reward rate of 12 coin, it comes down to ₹6. So how come the reward rate is 12%?

Is the AU Bank CHEQ card better than other entry-level cashback credit cards in India? I’m trying to decide between a few options.
Kartik Kanwar
Nah, for a first time credit card user its best to opt for a straight up cashback credit card.
