    Once we get the card and the FD matures, the card will be discontinued if we don’t renew the FD? Then it’s not really lifetime free. The FD is the cost since you will never be able to spend that amount.

      FD would also automatically get renewed. After some time you can also convert the card from secured to unsecured.

        Ohh is that so? Can you confirm with IDFC if we can convert the card from secured to unsecured after paying dues on time and building a good credit history?
