HSBC ALL Accor Bonus Points Festival Announced for Cardholders

While many believed cardholders should patiently wait before transferring their reward points, recent rumors around Accor possibly being removed as an HSBC transfer partner, similar to what happened with Axis Bank, led many users to transfer their points early to avoid missing out on the benefits.

HSBC ALL Accor Bonus Points Festival

However, HSBC Bank has now announced a Bonus Points Festival in partnership with Accor for its credit cardholders. The announcement comes as a major positive update for cardholders, especially for those planning future hotel stays, although users who recently transferred large amounts of points may feel they missed out on the upcoming bonus opportunity.

The good news may not be limited to just the HSBC and Accor partnership. On the Accor website, it is now mentioned that:

“The transfer of Axis EDGE REWARD Points/Miles into ALL Accor Reward points is temporarily unavailable – we apologize for the inconvenience. In the meantime, discover other ways to enjoy your Rewards Points.”

This could hint that the Axis Bank and Accor partnership suspension may only be temporary, although there is no official confirmation yet from either side. For now, cardholders will have to wait for further updates regarding the return of reward point transfers.

Bottom Line

The week has ended on a high note for Accor enthusiasts, especially HSBC Credit Card holders, as a new bonus transfer offer is expected soon. Accor continues to offer one of the best values for reward point transfers, making it a preferred choice among travelers and points enthusiasts.

HSBC TravelOne Credit Card holders, along with users of other HSBC Credit Cards planning to transfer their reward points, may benefit from waiting for the upcoming bonus festival. Similarly, users holding Axis EDGE Reward Points or Miles could also consider waiting and transferring once Accor transfers become available again.

I guess there were no further updates from HSBC regarding the same after the announcement?
