The Offer

The 2X Reward Points offer on HDFC Bank Credit cards is valid only on selected categories on making a minimum purchase of Rs. 2,000. In some categories, the offer is only valid for online transactions. For other categories, it is valid only for POS transactions, and for some categories, it is valid on both. Following is a list mentioning category wise validity of the offer on different types of transaction:  

  • Groceries, Medical purchases, and Departmental Stores – Valid on Online as well as POS transactions.
  • Apparel – Valid on POS transactions only.
  • Insurance, utility, wallet, and Telecom – Valid on online transactions only.

The 2X Reward Points offer on HDFC Bank Credit Cards is valid till September 20, 2021, and the maximum bonus Reward Points you can earn is capped at 1,000 Reward Points on each category, i.e.1,000 Reward Points on Groceries, Medical Purchases & Departmental stores, and 1,000 Reward Points on Apparel, Insurance, Utility, and other eligible categories. In short, you can earn up to 2,000 bonus Reward Points in a month through this offer.

Eligible Cards

The 2X Reward Points offer on HDFC Bank Credit Cards is applicable only on the retail & business credit cards issued by the bank. Corporate and Business cardholders are not eligible to avail of the offer.

Offer Terms & Conditions

  • The offer is only valid on selected categories as mentioned above and that too with selected mode of payment (online/offline).
  • Cardholders can earn a maximum of 2,000 bonus Reward Points in a month (combined).
  • The cardholders having credit cards with no reward points feature, like HDFC Millennia, HDFC Bharat Cashback Credit Card, will not get any bonus Reward Points.
  • Any transaction that is canceled refunded, or converted into an EMI, will no longer be eligible for the offer.
  • The offer is valid only for Indian citizens and residents of India.
  • Every HDFC Bank customer having a retail or business credit card can participate in the offer.
  • The earned Reward Points will be credited to the cardholder’s account by December 31, 2021.
  • The offer is non-extendable, non-transferable, and non-negotiable.
  • If the account of any cardholder is canceled or banned during the ongoing offer, he/she will no longer be eligible to avail of the offer.
  • In the medical category, hospital and ambulance bill payments will not be eligible for 2X Reward Points, and the offer will be valid only if the transaction is done on these MCCs: 5122, 8043, 8071, 742, 5912, 5975, 5976,5 047, 8011, 8021, 8031, 8042, 8049, 8099.
  • For groceries & departmental stores category, the offer is valid only on these MCCs: 5300, 5311, 5331, 5411, 5451, 5462, 5499, 5422, 5441, 5999, 9751.
  • For Apparel category, only the transactions made on these MCCs will be eligible for the offer: 1380, 5611, 5651, 5655, 5661, 5681, 5621, 5631, 5641, 5691, 5698, 5699, 7296.
  • For utility, telecom, insurance, and wallet categories, only the transactions made on these MCCs will be eligible for the offer: 4900, 6540, 4812, 4814, 1235, 1411, 5960, 6300, 6381, 4899.
  • The HDFC Bank reserves the ultimate right to modify, cancel, or change the offer if required.
