How to Earn 6E Reward Points
You can earn 6E reward points on making eligible spends with the Indigo co-branded credit cards by HDFC Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank. The 6E Rewards program is not a frequent flyer program like on other airlines and you won’t accrue 6E reward points by flying on Indigo Airlines flights. Although, you can redeem your earned 6E reward points for Indigo flight tickets and other privileges like 6E Prime, etc.
You will earn 6E reward on Indigo flight bookings made directly on the website using your Indigo co-branded credit card, and the rewards are credited to your account after your flight has completed. You will not earn any 6E reward points for the following –
- Group bookings
- Corporate login bookings
- Agent login bookings
- Small and medium enterprise login bookings
- Advance payments sent to Indigo Airlines
How to Redeem 6E Rewards
It is possible to redeem 6E rewards for Indigo flights for yourself as well your family members, but you will be charged a service fee for redeeming your points. Also, you will have to add others as nominees to your account in order to redeem miles for them. It is possible to pay for the full ticket amount either through just 6E reward points or through 6E rewards plus cash.
If you want to purchase any other service like meals, early boarding, etc. you can either pay through cash or through points, not with a combination of both. When you redeem 6E reward points, 1 RP = Rs. 1. To make the redemption, you will also have to pay airport departure tax, airport charges, immigration fees, carrier charges, and other surcharges as well. Upon cancelling a ticket, you will just receive the flight ticket amount back and not other taxes or charges.
6E Rewards Validity and Expiry
The 6E reward points earned by you for your spends on the credit card are valid for a period of 24 months from the date you earned them. They are valid on a first in first out basis that means the 6E rewards earned first will be used first when you make a redemption. Also, the points are valid only till your Indigo co-branded card is valid, if your card is discontinued, then the points will lapse as well.
If a member renews his membership account within the Grace Period of 90 days of the expiry, the 6E Rewards earned by him will be eligible for redemption. In case the membership is not renewed within 90 days, then the account will be terminated and the points will not be available to use.
Redeeming Points for Others
You can redeem 6E reward points for your family members and you can add up to 3 nominees at once in your account who can use your reward points to redeem flights. The nominees must be related to the account holder and Indigo Airlines will ask for necessary documents to verify the relationship. Also, you can only change your added nominees once per year.

- Visit the Indigo Airlines website and login to your 6E Rewards account.
- Click on the 6E Rewards menu and then click on Travellers.
