Known for its rewarding and popular offerings in various segments, from entry-level Swiggy HDFC to the super-premium Infinia, HDFC Bank has now introduced some new changes for the sourcing of its premium personal and commercial credit cards. These changes shall apply to Infinia Metal, Diners Club Black, Biz Black, and Regalia Gold Credit Cards. Basically, HDFC has increased the income eligibility criteria for various cards so as to maintain the best cost-benefit ratio. Here are the latest requirements for select HDFC Bank Credit Cards.

In a widely circulated screenshot, HDFC Bank mentions, “It is important that these Super/Ultra-premium range of credit cards are issued to the right customer profile to have an optimal spends and cost ratio. The guidelines are being rolled out to all sourcing teams for immediate adherence. This card can be offered basis Income surrogate programs and relevant promo code to be used.”

The new income eligibility criteria have come into immediate effect. Many new applicants may be disappointed as the income levels have been raised significantly. Some have commented that the income criteria for Regalia Gold have also been raised to quite high.
