All New CRED IndusInd Bank RuPay Credit Card Launched

CRED, often referred to as the fintech unicorn, has partnered with IndusInd Bank to launch a co-branded card. The all-new CRED IndusInd Bank RuPay Credit Card shall offer rewards on e-commerce websites. This card comes with zero joining fees and an annual charge of ₹499 + GST from the second year onwards.

Given below are some of the top features of the new IndusInd Bank CRED RuPay Credit Card.

  • E-commerce transactions: Earn 5 CRED Points per ₹100 spent. Maximum 5,000 Points each month.
  • CRED Pay, CRED Travel & CRED Store: Earn 5 CRED Points per ₹100 spent
  • CRED UPI: Earn 5 CRED Points per ₹100 spent
  • CRED UPI Scan & Pay: Earn 1 CRED Point per ₹100 spent. Maximum 500 Points each month.
  • Utilities & Insurance Payments: Earn 1 CRED Point per ₹100 spent
  • Redeem Your Way: Use points at 500+ CRED Pay merchants, shop from 2,000+ products on the CRED Store, or book flights (powered by Ixigo) and 8,00,000+ hotels (powered by Expedia). Every point = Up to ₹1.
  • Seamless Usage: Points are applied automatically across the ecosystem wherever relevant.
  • Simple Onboarding: Zero joining fee, with a quick 2-minute application process.

Note: CRED Coins and CRED Points are completely different reward systems and have no relation to each other.

With 5 CRED Points per ₹100 on e-commerce, CRED Pay, CRED Travel, CRED Store, and UPI transactions, along with 1 Point per ₹100 on utilities, insurance, and Scan & Pay, the card offers a strong rewards structure.

This is an easily affordable card as it comes with zero joining fees and an annual charge of ₹499 + GST from the second year.

Another super premium credit card is on the way from CRED. While complete details are yet to be revealed, the newly announced Sovereign Credit Card is expected to be launched on RuPay Ekaa and positioned as a top-tier, super premium offering.

    Due to significant concerns regarding the quality of its customer support, IndusInd Bank may not be a suitable partner for a co-branded credit card.

    CRED should explore alternative banking partners to ensure a superior customer experience.
    Like what PhonePe did with SBI & HDFC.
