AU Bank has recently made changes to the terms and conditions for earning accelerated reward points on the LIT Credit Card. Going forward, you will no longer be able to choose accelerated rewards on transactions for utility bills, school fees, and educational services. Instead, you will earn 1 Reward Point for every Rs. 100 spent on these transactions.
Previously, customers could opt to receive higher reward points such as 5X or 10X for utility bills and school services, but now they will only receive one reward point for each spend of Rs. 100.
About AU Bank LIT Credit Card
The AU Small Finance LIT Credit Card is India’s first customizable credit card with unique features. You can choose the features you want on your card and pay only for those, without any additional charges. Unlike other credit card companies that offer multiple credit cards with different features and benefits, AU Bank has launched a credit card that allows you to personalize your own features. While the bank has launched many other credit cards with great benefits, the LIT card stands out for its unique features and customization options.
It’s safe to say that most of us pay utility bills such as electricity, telephone, and gas on a regular basis. Therefore, saving on these expenses is beneficial for everyone. People often seek credit cards that offer decent rewards for utility bill payments. Previously, you could earn reward points for utility bill payments and transactions for school and education with the AU Bank LIT Credit Card, but this program has now been discontinued. As a result, you will no longer be able to earn accelerated rewards for this merchant category.
