Seating and Rest Area

The IRCTC Railway Lounge at Platform 1 had comfortable seating for all. With large and clean sofas, one can relax before going on. There is even a television in the seating area for entertainment.

Food at the Lounge

Since I had an early train, I arrived at the lounge during breakfast time, and the spread was plentiful. All the food was fresh, and the taste was decent. There was a wide variety to choose from, ranging from South Indian dishes to healthy breakfast options. The attendants in the lounge were extremely helpful, contributing to a wonderful overall experience.

• Evening Snacks: 4 PM to 7 PM
• Dinner: 7 PM to 12 PM
