Factors that affect your IDBI bank credit card eligibility

Age: IDBI Bank has a fixed minimum age requirement for salaried employees and self-employed individuals for issuing credit cards. For salaried the age requirement fixed is 21-60 years and for self-employed individuals, it is 21-65 years. Not fulfilling this age requirement can affect credit card eligibility.
Income: IDBI Bank has not given income requirements as such, you are required to have a stable income to be eligible for a credit card. If you do not have a stable income then you are not eligible for the IDBI Bank credit card.
Credit Score: To be eligible for the IDBI Bank credit card you need to have a good credit score or credit history. Not having a good credit score decreases the chances of your application getting approved. A good credit score is considered to be 700-750.
Multiple Credit Card: Banks rarely issue a credit card to those applicants who already are in possession of 7-8 credit cards. If you are applying for another card despite have 7-8 credit cards then the chances of you getting a new credit card decreases.
Payment Default: The default in payment of credit card can stay in your credit history for many years and it can definitely lower down the chances of you getting a credit card. The credit card issuers while scrutinizing the credit card application check your creditworthiness.
Multiple Applications: You are attracting hard inquiries by sending multiple applications at the same time. This can decrease the chances of your application being approved. It’s better to send a single application at one time and wait for the response from the bank.
