The PhonePe co-branded credit cards have become quite popular because they offer rewards on everyday spends like utility bill payments and insurance done through PhonePe. With the recent devaluation of the Airtel Axis Credit Card, more users are now moving towards these PhonePe cards.
Right now, both HDFC PhonePe Credit Cards are being offered as first-year free, which means you don’t have to pay any joining fee.
Although you won’t get welcome benefits if you choose the first-year free option, it still makes sense to go for it since you save on the joining charges. The PhonePe HDFC Bank UNO Credit Card, which usually has a joining fee of ₹499, and the PhonePe HDFC Bank ULTIMO Credit Card, which comes with a fee of ₹999, are effectively available without any cost in the first year under this offer.
This is a limited-time offer available till 14th July 2026.
PhonePe HDFC Bank Uno Credit Card
Joining Fee – Zero | Annual Fee – ₹499 + GST (Second Year Onwards)
Earn 2 reward points per ₹100 on select spends through PhonePe, including recharges, bill payments, movies, hotels, utilities, and more. You can earn 1 reward point per ₹100 on spends at brands like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, and others. UPI Scan & Pay transactions also earn 1 reward point per ₹100 spent.
PhonePe HDFC Bank Ultimo Credit Card
Joining Fee – Zero | Annual Fee – ₹999 + GST (Second Year Onwards)
Earn 10 reward points per ₹100 on select spends made through PhonePe, including recharges, bill payments, movies, hotels, utilities, and more. You can also earn 5 reward points per ₹100 on popular brands like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, and others. For UPI Scan & Pay transactions, you earn 1 reward point per ₹100 spent.
The HDFC PhonePe Ultimo Credit Card also offers 2 complimentary domestic airport lounge visits per quarter, but this benefit is available only if you spend ₹75,000 or more in a quarter.
Bottom Line
It seems PhonePe is fully focused on pushing its co-branded credit cards, as the PhonePe HDFC Credit Cards are currently being offered with a first-year free offer. This makes it a good opportunity for users to save on everyday spending.
From recharges and bill payments to earning rewards on popular brands, these cards cover most regular expenses. Both cards are simple and straightforward to use, without any complicated conditions or structures.

Opt for HDFC PhonePe Credit Cards only if you are unable to get an SBI PhonePe Credit Card, as SBI offers a higher cap of ₹2,000 compared to HDFC’s ₹1,000 limit.
