Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for the Standard Chartered Beyond Credit Card must be between 18 and 70 years old and meet the bank’s eligibility criteria, which includes maintaining Funds Under Management (FUM) of ₹50 lakh or more.
FUM may consist of savings balances, term deposits, investments made through the bank, total paid-up life insurance premiums for active policies, or the market value of demat holdings with Standard Chartered.
The applicant must also reside in a location where the bank sources credit cards, and all applications will undergo the bank’s standard credit and policy checks.
Bottom Line
The all-new Standard Chartered Beyond Credit Card brings a strong mix of premium benefits and a decent reward rate. With movie offers, dining discounts, travel perks, and more, it’s well-suited for high-net-worth individuals seeking an elevated experience.
The only notable drawback is the steep eligibility requirement, which ties the card to a premium banking relationship with Standard Chartered. Even so, it’s encouraging to see the bank re-enter India’s credit card space with a fresh, high-end offering after being relatively quiet in the market.
This card is likely going to be available on the Visa Infinite variant.
