AU Bank has launched its credit cards, offering a wide variety of benefits and deals to its customers. AU Bank offers a range of credit cards, from entry-level to high-end, that provide benefits to cardholders across various categories.

Although these credit cards are relatively new to the market, they offer exclusive benefits to cardholders, including accelerated cashback, higher reward points, excellent welcome benefits, and milestone rewards. Due to the benefits that AU Bank’s credit cards provide, this bank has become the go-to option for credit cards. Important Terms for Lounge Access with AU Bank Credit Card
To enjoy complimentary lounge access with your AU Bank Credit Card, it’s important to understand the conditions tied to your spending, card type, and usage of the Priority Pass. Here’s a breakdown of the key terms:
Spend Requirement for Lounge Access
All AU Bank Credit Cards except Zenith+ come with a quarterly spend condition for complimentary lounge access.
Minimum Required Spends: ₹20,000 in a calendar quarter
Eligibility: Lounge access is enabled 2 days after reaching the spend threshold. The bank, however, will try to communicate the same on a best effort basis.
New Customer Spend Criteria Waiver
Newly onboarded cardholders get a 30-day waiver on the spend-based eligibility. Complimentary lounge access is granted for the first 30 days after card activation. After 30 days, access is subject to ₹20,000 quarterly spend eligibility.
Revised Priority Pass Charges
The Priority Pass lounge access fee for AU Credit Cardholders has increased from $27 to $35 per visit. This new fee applies to guest visits after the complimentary international visits quota is exhausted and to any use of Priority Pass lounges within India. The update affects Zenith, Vetta, and ABC Pro cardholders only, and domestic lounge access should now be through the Visa or RuPay network instead of Priority Pass.

Bottom Line
Complimentary visits to airport lounges are a key feature that applicants seek in credit cards nowadays. Many people are required to travel frequently, whether for vacations or work. Therefore, they look for comfortable travel options, preferring credit cards that offer free access to airport lounges where they can relax and enjoy meals. These lounges help you avoid the crowded and hectic scenes at the airport, making travel more hassle-free. Typically, you need to pay a fee to access these lounges, but with the credit cards mentioned above, you get complimentary access. This also helps you save a significant amount of money that you would otherwise spend on entrance fees to enjoy these lounge services.
