AU Bank started issuing credit cards to customers a few years back and have become one of the most popular card issuers in the country. Even though the bank offers only a few credit cards, thousands of customers love their cards because of the exclusive rewards and benefits on offer.

AU Bank has rolled out some changes with respect to their credit cards’ usage terms and conditions which will take effect from 1st April 2023. Let’s know more about the updated terms and conditions.

Updated APR

An updated APR or Annualized Percentage Rate of 3.59% per month or 43.08% per year will apply to AU Altura, AU Altura Plus, AU LIT, and AU Excite credit card statements that are generated after 1st April 2023.

Rental Payment Processing Fee

1% processing fee will be charged on the 2nd rental payment and onwards in a single month. There will be no processing fee charged on the 1st rental payment and it will begin from the 2nd payment.

Cardholders can utilize 100% of their card limit on rent subject to the following conditions –

  • Upto 30% of the card limit can be used per rent payment for the AU Vetta, AU Xcite Ace, AU Zenith, AU Xcite Ultra, and AU Business Cashback credit cards.
  • Upto 50% of the card limit can be used per rent payment for the AU Altura, AU LIT, AU Altura Plus, and AU Xcite credit card.

Instant EMI Processing Fees

All AU credit card users will be charged a processing fee of Rs. 199 plus GST on all EMI transactions done through a Payment Getaway or at a POS unit.

Fuel Surcharge Waiver

Customers can get a 1% fuel surcharge waiver up to Rs. 1000 maximum in a single statement cycle on their AU Zenith credit card.

The above terms and conditions for AU credit cards will be in effect from 1st April 2023.
