SBI SimplyClick Credit Cardholders Will Now Earn Only 5x Rewards On Amazon

The SimplyClick Credit Card issued by SBI is one of the most popular credit cards in the Indian market. It is because of the great reward rates that this card offers with such a low annual membership fee. Along with a decent reward rate on all retail spends, the card offers 10x Rewards on different merchant spends, including Amazon, BookMyShow, ClearTrip, Netmeds, Apollo 24*7, etc. But, from January 2023, the reward rate on Amazon will no more be the same with the SimplyClick Credit Card. It has been reduced to half, i.e, 5x Reward Points. However, the cardholders will keep accruing the same number of rewards across other merchants. For more information, keep reading:

 The Update

The SBI SimplyClick Credit Card previously used to offer 10x Reward Points (10 Reward Points on every spend of Rs. 100) on Amazon along with a few other merchants, but the reward rate on Amazon has now been reduced to 5x Rewards. Therefore, the SBI SimplyClick Credit Cardholders will be receiving only 5x Reward Points (5 Reward Points on every spend of Rs. 100) on Amazon from January 1, 2023. However, the Reward rate would be the same, i.e. 10x Reward Points on all other mercats, including BookMyShow, Apollo 24*7, EazyDiner, Lenskart, Netmeds, ClearTrip, etc. Amazon has recently degraded its offers with almost all the credit card issuers and now, the SimplyClick SBI Card has also been added to the list.

This update on the reward structure of the SBI SimplyClick Credit Card might be a bit disappointing for those who spend very often on Amazon. But, the reward rate on all other merchants is still the same. Amazon has removed or degraded its offers from almost all credit cards and there would surely have been some reason behind this. So, there is nothing to worry about as the SimplyClick still remains one of the most rewarding cards in the market.
