After spending five wonderful days in Hanoi, it was finally time to say goodbye to the beautiful city. I truly enjoyed my stay there, and the rich culture fascinated me even more than I expected. The busy streets, delicious food, and friendly people made the trip very special for me. Every day brought something new to see and learn, which made the experience unforgettable.
When I arrived at Hanoi Airport, I still had some time before my flight, and I wasn’t quite ready for the journey to end. So, I decided to relax for a while at the SH Premium Lounge. It felt like the perfect place to sit back, think about my trip, and enjoy a few quiet moments before heading home.
How to Access the Lounge
When I reached the counter, I just showed my boarding pass along with my DreamFolks membership QR code on my phone, and they let me into the lounge. Moments like this make me realise how useful the DreamFolks membership really is.
If you have a Priority Pass, you can use the lounge too. Otherwise, many credit cards also offer complimentary airport lounge access.
Sitting Arrangements and Interior
When I walked into the lounge, the first thing I noticed was how open and bright it was. The lounge has large glass windows, so I was able to see outside clearly. It gave the lounge a calm feeling, especially in the evening light.
There were many different types of seating. Near the windows, I saw small tables with soft chairs where people were eating or working on their laptops. Some seats were arranged in pairs, and some tables were for groups. The chairs looked comfortable, with light-colored cushions and dark wooden frames.
In another area, there were blue sofa-style seats placed around low tables. This section felt more relaxed, like a living room. I saw people sitting there chatting, using their phones, or waiting for their flights. The sofas were arranged in rows with enough space to walk comfortably between them.
There were also semi-private seating areas with curved partitions. These gave a little privacy while still being part of the main lounge. I liked this setup because it felt quiet and comfortable without being closed off.
The interior design felt modern and warm at the same time. The wooden floors, golden decorative panels, indoor plants, and soft lighting made the place feel welcoming. Even though many people were there, it did not feel crowded because the seating was well spaced.
Overall, I felt relaxed and comfortable during my visit. The mix of dining tables, lounge sofas, and private corners made it easy to choose a spot depending on whether I wanted to eat, work, or just rest.
Food and Drinks
In the center, there was a long buffet counter. It was curved and neatly arranged with different food items placed in covered trays. I saw bread, cheese, and some hot dishes in shiny metal containers. Plates and serving spoons were placed neatly in front. The buffet area was surrounded by warm lights hanging from tall golden stands, which made the space feel cozy and elegant.
When I sat down, I had a small mix of breakfast things in front of me. I grabbed a banana, some watermelon, and a couple of soft-boiled eggs. I also picked up toast with butter and a few little desserts just to try them. It wasn’t a huge meal, just a bit of everything. I remember sipping my drink and checking my phone while I ate.
Before sitting down, I stopped by a counter with drinks and small snacks. There were juice dispensers, tea, and some cereals laid out. I poured myself a drink and looked around to see what else they had. It felt relaxed; people were just helping themselves and moving around quietly.
Bottom Line
I had a great experience at the SH Premium Lounge. The calm and quiet setting helped me relax right away. After traveling, it was nice to sit comfortably and enjoy a light meal at my own pace. The food was tasty and satisfying, and the peaceful atmosphere allowed me to reminisce about my trip to Hanoi.
I appreciated the clean, well-maintained space to rest, recharge my devices, and organize my thoughts before my flight. Spending time there felt like a gentle break at the end of my trip. It felt like a great way to wrap up my time in Hanoi, and I’m really happy I chose to spend some time there before my flight.
