Many of us were waiting for the HSBC Accor bonus, which had been teased for quite some time. However, now that the offer is finally here, it is not exactly what many cardholders were expecting. Unlike a straightforward transfer bonus, HSBC has added multiple eligibility requirements, including registration, a ₹1 lakh spending milestone, and a limited transfer window.

While the offer can still be valuable for those already planning to transfer points to ALL Accor, it is far less accessible than the simple transfer bonus promotions many were hoping for.

Bottom Line
While a transfer bonus to ALL Accor is always welcome, HSBC has made this promotion considerably more restrictive than expected. The mandatory registration, ₹1 lakh spending requirement, and narrow two-day transfer window mean that many cardholders may not be able to take advantage of it.
For those who were already planning significant spending and an Accor redemption, the offer can still provide good value, particularly for HSBC Privé and eligible Premier cardholders receiving a 50% bonus. However, for casual users, the conditions may outweigh the benefits.
