Punjab National Bank Credit Card Devaluation 2024

20 September, 2024 / By Kartik Kanwar / 0 Comment

From 1 September 2024, the value of Reward Points earned with PNB Credit Cards has been devalued. Earlier, One Reward Point was worth ₹0.50, which has now been reduced to ₹0.25. This is a significant devaluation for PNB credit cardholders because the rewards offered with their credit cards were already quite low and have now been further reduced. Outstanding reward points of PNB Credit Cards as of August 31, 2024, will be allocated to maintain the same value of reward points.

How to Check PNB Credit Card Reward Point Balance?

There are several ways to check your outstanding Reward Point balance. Check your Reward Point balance by logging in to PNB Rewardz, either through the PNB website or app or by calling customer care at 1800-572-9500. Cardholders can also check their Reward Points by logging into PNB Rewardz.

Bottom Line

This is a significant change for all PNB Credit Cardholders as the value of Reward Points that are now earned has been reduced by half. The Reward Point value has been decreased from ₹0.50 to ₹0.25. However, those who have outstanding Reward Points can be reassured that their points will be adjusted to reflect the new value. For those who are applying for a Punjab National Bank Credit Card now, it’s important to be aware that the points they earn are now worth less than they were before September 1, 2024.
