Kotak Myntra Credit Card Discontinued from 10th July 2025 – What’s Next?

11 June, 2025 / By Kartik Kanwar / 1 Comment

Surprise and shock rippled through the credit card community when Kotak Mahindra Bank announced the discontinuation of its Myntra co-branded card, one of India’s most rewarding shopping cards.

Many people were eager to apply for the Myntra Kotak Credit Card as soon as applications opened, while those who already had this card were using it confidently. However, Kotak Mahindra Bank has now announced that, effective July 10, 2025, the Kotak Myntra Credit Card will be discontinued, and all active cards will be transitioned to another comparable Kotak offering, such as the Zen Credit Card. This change represents a significant shift in Kotak Mahindra’s retail credit portfolio and is likely to affect its credit card customer base.

Myntra Kotak Discontinued From 10th July 2025

If you hold the Kotak Myntra Card, keep an eye on your inbox for migration details from Kotak Mahindra Bank.

  • The Myntra Kotak Credit Card will be transitioned to a different Kotak Credit Card on July 10, 2025. All benefits associated with the Myntra Kotak Credit Card will cease to be effective as of that date.
  • Additionally, the 7.5% instant discount offer will be removed from all partner touchpoints starting July 10, 2025.
  • The annual fee, transaction limits, and other terms will remain the same.

Why is Kotak Myntra Credit Card Being Discontinued?

While we can’t comment on the precise reason Kotak Mahindra Bank decided to discontinue its credit card, the signs were evident. Ever since the devaluation of the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card and its added cashback rewards on Myntra, it could have been speculated that the Myntra Credit Card would soon face a similar fate. However, it was unexpected that it would be completely discontinued.

One major visible sign of trouble is that so many credit cards now offer cashback and discounts on Myntra. From the Swiggy HDFC Credit Card, HDFC Millennia, to the superCard Credit Card, there is an abundance of options available.

What’s Next for Kotak Myntra Credit Cardholders?

Many users have reported receiving emails from Kotak Mahindra Bank regarding the devaluation and migration to new credit cards. We have confirmed that customers are being offered migration from the Kotak Myntra Card to options such as the Kotak Zen and League Credit Card. Although the fee structures differ, those migrating from Kotak Myntra will retain the same charges.

Myntra Kotak Migrated to Kotak Zen Credit Card

The Kotak Zen Card is categorized as a semi-premium offering, while the League Platinum Credit Card is considered a basic option. Neither of these cards can match the value that the Kotak Myntra card offered.

Bottom Line

No devaluation, straight discontinuation. This is the mantra that Kotak Mahindra Bank followed with the Myntra Kotak Credit Card. It’s a risky approach, as users can simply be informed one month in advance and then lose access to their favourite credit card offerings.

While there’s nothing that can be done about the discontinuation of the Kotak Myntra Credit Card, those who want cashback and discounts on Myntra should definitely consider the Flipkart Axis Credit Card, which now offers 7.5% cashback on Myntra as part of its renewed benefits.

Myntra likely can’t sustain the #Kotak Myntra Credit Card, as most users are drawn to the unlimited cashback on non-partner spends
