However, these benefits are not available automatically to all account holders. Customers must meet specific relationship balance or Net Relationship Value (NRV) requirements, along with a minimum quarterly debit card spending criterion.

The program is effective from October 1, 2026, and offers an additional incentive for customers maintaining a high-value banking relationship with IndusInd Bank.

Indus Grande Savings Account

Indus Grande customers can receive a complimentary Taj Experiences Dining Voucher, which provides a buffet meal for two at participating Taj Hotels. To qualify, customers must fulfill either of the following relationship requirements:

  • Maintain an Average Quarterly Balance (AQB) of ₹5 lakh in their IndusInd Bank Savings Account.
  • Maintain a combined AQB of ₹25 lakh across Savings Accounts, Current Accounts and Fixed Deposits.

Additionally, customers must complete at least ₹25,000 in eligible debit card transactions during the applicable eligibility quarter.

Indus Pioneer Savings Account

Indus Pioneer customers can receive a complimentary Epicure Plus membership, which comes with several dining and hotel-related benefits at participating IHCL properties. Customers must meet either of the following relationship requirements:

  • Maintain a combined AQB of ₹10 lakh across Savings and Current Accounts, including eligible grouped accounts.
  • Maintain a Net Relationship Value (NRV) of ₹30 lakh with a minimum Savings Account AQB of ₹1 lakh.

In addition, customers must complete at least ₹25,000 in eligible debit card transactions during the applicable eligibility quarter.

How Often Can You Receive the Taj Benefits?

IndusInd Bank offers these benefits once per eligible customer relationship during an account anniversary year, irrespective of the number of eligible accounts maintained. For customers with grouped banking relationships, eligibility is determined based on the Group Primary Customer. While eligible group balances may be considered for qualification, only the eligible Group Primary Customer can receive the benefit.

Debit card spends made by add-on members or other group members will not be considered.

Bottom Line

IndusInd Bank’s Taj benefits are an interesting addition for customers with premium savings accounts. The complimentary Taj dining voucher under Indus Grande is a useful benefit, while the Epicure Plus membership offered to Pioneer customers provides considerably more value through hotel stays, dining discounts, room upgrades, and other hospitality benefits.

However, the eligibility requirements are fairly demanding. Customers must maintain substantial banking balances or investments and spend ₹25,000 quarterly on their debit card to unlock these benefits.

For customers who already maintain these balances and regularly use their IndusInd debit cards, this is a worthwhile additional benefit. However, opening or upgrading a savings account solely for these Taj benefits may not make sense unless you can comfortably meet the relationship and spending requirements.
