ICICI Bank has surprised its entire customer base with the launch of iShop. This platform is an excellent resource for travel bookings and purchasing shopping vouchers. Customers can shop for vouchers from various brands on this platform without paying any convenience charges. This is even applicable to Amazon vouchers.

ICICI’s latest moves are impressive, especially considering the bank’s previous reputation as one of the lowest reward rate credit card issuers in India. Many speculate that the bank will further enhance its offerings by allowing customers to redeem rewards for Airmiles.

Pro Tip: All ICICI Credit Cards shall be charged a Reward Redemption Fee of ₹99 + GST, except the Emeralde Private Metal Credit Card and Times Black Card.

  • It depends. Since both Zomato and Swiggy is primarily used for food ordering, checkout the list of restaurants where you order. Ordering from such restaurants could incur more cost like delivery fees etc which differs between Zomato and Swiggy.Product cost would mostly be the same. So, the other cost could be your deciding factor.

U just got Epm card..Does it make sense to buy Zomato voucher instead of Swiggy since it would not attract processing fee+Gst?

For regular card users, the extra rewards feel quite small. The big benefits are mainly for premium cards like Emeralde Private or Times Black, which not everyone can get.

True voucher purchase makes since only with premium credit cards.

  • Is there a minimum purchase value needed to avail the accelerated rates, or does it apply from the first rupee?

  • Good step that users can log in via net banking / iMobile also. Makes access easier.

  • It’s great to see ICICI stepping up its rewards game. The accelerated points on flights, hotels etc. are quite competitive compared to HDFC SmartBuy or Axis Grab Deals.

  • Ishop portal is not working for a week or so, and seems to be happening regularly since launch, so pls be aware of this important problem.

  • Accelerator rewards on ICICI cards only make sense for Emeralde Private and Times Black. Emeralde is for HNIs, so it’s hard to get, and Times Black has a high annual fee. For other ICICI cards, you don’t need to bother—better deals are available directly with many other cards.

True, even highly premium cards like Adani One Signature are useless in iShop.
