HSBC Launches All-New Rewards Marketplace – Earn Up to 12X Points on Travel Bookings

In partnership with a leading travel platform, Hopper, HSBC launches its dedicated travel booking platform, called the HSBC Rewards Marketplace. 

To say the least, it will offer up to 12X reward points on your travel bookings, allow you to make bookings using your accumulated reward points, and much more. The portal only allows bookings from five of HSBC Credit Cards, namely the following:

• HSBC Privé Credit Card
• HSBC Premier Credit Card
• HSBC TravelOne Credit Card
• HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card
• HSBC RuPay Platinum Credit Card

• Insured Bookings with “Cancel for Any Reason”: Add flexibility to your trip with the option to cancel your flights or hotel stays up to 3 hours before and get up to a 100% refund.
• Price Drop Protection: Your flight booking will be monitored for the next 10 days. If the price drops, the difference will be refunded to you in travel credits, up to a maximum of ₹1500.
• 24 Hours Dedicated Customer Service: If you need help with your booking, just call +91 80008 20206 ( within India) or +44 20 4623 5225 (overseas) for assistance.

Steps to Redeem Reward Points at HSBC Rewards Marketplace

• Open the HSBC India app and choose your credit card
• Select ‘View More’ then ‘Redeem points’
• Choose ‘Redeem points now’ to visit the Rewards Marketplace.
• Select the Travel with Points tab to go to the travel portal
• Use your available reward points to book flights, hotels, and car rentals, or pay with your HSBC credit card.

Important Terms

• The value of points across the platform is dynamic and will be determined by the bank.
• Payment can be made entirely through HSBC Reward Points and/or HSBC Cards, as detailed in the Terms and Conditions (T&C). Access the T&C here. There are no restrictions on the percentage of payments made through rewards points and/or Credit Cards.
