From 15th January 2024 onwards, there has been a minor devaluation in the transfer point ratio for Accor, Turkish Miles & Smiles, and Avianca Lifemiles. This change affects HDFC Bank Infinia and Diners Black Credit Card users who wish to transfer their reward points to these partners.

Previously, each HDFC Bank Reward Point was equivalent to 1 Mile/Point of these three partners, but now you will receive only 0.5 points for each reward point transferred. This means that you will now need to transfer 2 HDFC Bank Reward Points to get 1 Mile/Point for these partners.

HDFC Bank Points Transfer Ratio

Transfer Partners New Transfer Ratio Old Transfer Ratio
Avianca LifeMiles 2:1 1:1
Turkish Airlines – Miles & Smiles 2:1 1:1
ALL – Accor Live Limitless 2:1 1:1

HDFC Bank has partnered with many hotels and airlines, allowing you to transfer rewards. However, there have been changes to three of these partners.

Bottom Line

Some of you may already be aware of the recent change to HDFC Bank Credit Card transfer points. If you haven’t transferred your rewards yet, please note that you will now get 1 Partner Point (Accor, Turkish, and Aviance LifeMiles Points) for every 2 Reward Points you transfer. This devaluation brings more focus to the Axis Bank Burgundy Private & Magnus Credit Card for Burgundy, which offers a 5:4 reward transfer ratio for its partners.
