Etihad Guest SBI Co-Branded Credit Cards Discontinued
Earlier this year, in March, SBI Card announced that it would discontinue its Etihad Guest co-branded credit cards, meaning no new cards would be issued going forward. Now, the issuer has taken the next major step by confirming that the Etihad Guest SBI Co-Branded Credit Cards will be fully discontinued from 1st December 2025.

As of January 2026, all existing Etihad Guest SBI Credit Card holders will be issued a new SBI MILES Credit Card, which SBI Card states will be an equally rewarding alternative. The existing Etihad Guest cards will be deactivated either upon activation of the newly issued SBI MILES Credit Card or on 31 March 2026, whichever occurs earlier.
Similarly, the Etihad Guest Premier SBI Credit Card will also be discontinued. Cardholders will be migrated to the SBI Miles Elite Credit Card, which will serve as its premium replacement. The Premier variant will follow the same deactivation timeline, either on activation of the new card or by 31 March 2026, whichever comes first.
Bottom Line
Earlier, SBI Card had not provided any clarity to cardholders regarding the future of the Etihad co-branded credit cards. The issuer has now officially confirmed that existing Etihad Guest SBI Credit Card holders will be migrated to the Miles Credit Card series, which are dedicated travel cards that offer points conversion to Etihad Airways at a 1:1 ratio.
Meanwhile, cardholders specifically looking for an Etihad Airways co-branded credit card can consider the recently launched BOBCARD Etihad Co-Branded Credit Cards, which continue to offer airline-linked rewards and benefits.
