SBI Credit Card PIN Generation Methods

Through SBI ATM

You can generate your SBI Credit Card PIN through an SBI ATM by following these steps:

• Step 1: Visit the nearest SBI ATM, insert or swipe your SBI Credit Card and select your preferred language.
• Step 2: Select the option to Create PIN using OTP.
• Step 3: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP on the ATM screen.
• Step 4: Enter a new 4-digit PIN and re-enter it to confirm.

Your new SBI Credit Card PIN will be generated after successful verification.

Through the SBI Card Website

You can also generate or change your SBI Credit Card PIN online without visiting an ATM.

• Step 1: Log in to your SBI Card account through the official website.
• Step 2: Go to My Account and select Manage PIN.
• Step 3: Select the option to generate an OTP.
• Step 4: Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.

SBI Credit Card e-PIN

For new SBI Credit Cardholders, SBI Card may provide the 4-digit credit card PIN through a password-protected email attachment.

The e-PIN communication contains the 4-digit PIN in the attachment. To open the attachment, SBI Card states that the password is a combination of:

• Last 4 digits of the credit card
• Birth year in YYYY format
• Last 4 digits of the registered mobile number

These details have to be entered without spaces. For security reasons, cardholders should not share their PIN or the password used to access the PIN attachment with anyone.

How to Change SBI Credit Card PIN

If you already have a PIN but want to change it, you can do so through an SBI ATM or the SBI Card website/app.

Through SBI ATM

• Step 1: Visit an SBI ATM and insert your SBI Credit Card.
• Step 2: Enter your existing PIN and select the option to change the PIN.
• Step 3: Follow the instructions shown on the ATM screen and complete the OTP verification if required.
• Step 4: Enter your new 4-digit PIN and confirm it.

Through the SBI Card Website or Mobile App

You can also change your PIN online through the Manage PIN section on the SBI Card website or mobile app. Log in to your account, select the relevant credit card, choose Manage PIN, complete the OTP verification, and enter your new 4-digit PIN.

How to Activate SBI Credit Card Transactions

SBI Card also allows cardholders to activate different transaction types through SMS.

• To activate all domestic transactions, including POS, ATM, online, and contactless transactions, send: DOM <Last 4 digits of your card> to 5676791
• To activate all international transactions, including POS, ATM, online, and contactless transactions, send: INTL <Last 4 digits of your card> to 5676791
