LIC Credit Card PIN Generation & Change Methods

You get the credit card in a deactivated form, to use the credit card to make transactions you need to activate your credit card first. To activate your credit card you have to generate a 4-digit credit card PIN. The customers can generate LIC Credit Card PIN by using the Axis Bank interface.

How to Generate your LIC Credit Card PIN?

The PIN of your LIC Credit Card can be changed by adopting the below-mentioned options.

Through Calling Customer Care

The customers of Axis Bank can generate their PIN by getting in touch with the customer care executive to activate their LIC credit card. The cardholders can follow the steps given below in order to generate the credit card PIN.

Step 1: Contact the customer care executive by placing a call at the customer care number on 1800 419 0064
Step 2: Click on the ‘PIN Related service’ option.
Step 3: Choose the Generate PIN option from the list of options that are given to you.
Step 4: You will now have to enter all the required details such are number of your credit card, it’s expiry date, registered mobile number, etc.
Step 5: After you receive an OTP on your mobile number registered with the bank, you will have to set a 4-digit PIN for your credit card and re-enter the same to confirm.
Step 6: After this, the cardholders will receive an SMS on their registered mobile number confirming the successful generation of credit card PIN.

Customers can also call the LIC customer care toll-free number 1800-419-0064 to activate their LIC credit card.

Through Internet Banking

Internet Banking can also be used by the cardholders to set up the credit card PIN. For this purpose, the cardholders will have to register on the Internet Banking. Following steps can be adopted to generate via Internet Banking.

Step 1: Using your credentials, log in to the Axis Bank net banking.
Step 2: Click on MyCreditCard under the Accounts Tab.
Step 3: Click on ‘More Services > Credit Card PIN Change’ from the drop-down menu and hit the ‘Go’ button.
Step 4: Set up a 4-digit PIN and re-enter to confirm
Step 5: Click on ‘Confirm’ button after entering the NetSecure Code that you will receive on your registered mobile number.

Through Mobile Banking App

The PIN of your LIC Credit Card can be generated using a mobile application as well. For generating a PIN through this method, the cardholders will have to download and install Axis Bank Mobile Application and follow the steps that are mentioned as under –

Step 1: Log in to your Axis Bank mobile banking app using your username and password.
Step 2: From the drop-down menu select the ‘Banking’ option and Services.
Step 3: Select LIC credit card and Set/Reset PIN option.
Step 4: You will receive the OTP on your registered mobile number.
Step 5: Enter the One Time Password received twice.
Step 6: Verify details provided with your mPIN.
Step 7: You will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number.

Through ATM

You can also generate a new PIN on your LIC credit card by visiting a nearby ATM. Given below are steps you can follow to generate a PIN using ATM.

Step 1: Insert your LIC credit card at your nearby Axis Bank ATM.
Step 2: Choose ‘Select PIN’ or the ‘Generate PIN option’
Step 3: Enter your card details such as the date of birth, credit card expiry, and your registered mobile number
Step 4: Verify the credit card details and you shall receive the OTP on your registered mobile number.
Step 5: Provide the OTP received on your registered mobile number at the ATM
Step 6: Set the 4-digit PIN on your Axis Bank credit card and Re-enter to confirm

How to Change Your LIC Credit Card PIN?

Axis Bank cardholders can change their credit card PIN using the following ways mentioned below.

Through Internet Banking

You can change the new PIN on your LIC credit card through ATM. Make sure you are registered with the internet banking service to change the PIN of your existing LIC credit card. You can change the PIN of your existing LIC credit card by following these instructions.

Step 1: Log in to your online netbanking account using your credentials
Step 2: Go to the ‘MyCreditCards’ option and Select the Card from the drop-down menu
Step 3: Choose ‘More Services’ and ‘Credit Card PIN change’
Step 4: Set up a 4-digit PIN and re-enter to confirm
Step 5: You will receive a NetSecure code on your registered mobile number

Through Mobile App

Axis Bank customers can change the existing PIN of their credit card through mobile banking. You can change the PIN of your credit card using the following instructions provided below.

Step 1: Log in to Axis Bank mobile app using your valid credentials
Step 2: Choose your ‘credit cards’ option and select your credit card from the drop-down menu
Step 3: Choose the ‘controls’ option and reset the PIN option.

Through Axis Bank ATM

The PIN can also be set up by visiting the nearest Axis Bank ATM. All you have to do is to insert your credit card into an ATM Machine and hit the PIN Reset option.

Through Axis Bank Customer Care

You can reset your LIC credit card PIN by calling the customer helpline at  1860-419-5555 or 1860-500-5555.
