CRED IndusInd Bank RuPay Credit Card
- Updated On: 19 May, 2026
CRED, one of India’s most popular platforms for credit card bill payments, has launched its first co-branded card, the CRED IndusInd Bank RuPay Credit Card. The card comes with zero joining fee and rewards users with 5 CRED Points for every ₹100 spent on e-commerce transactions, CRED Travel, and CRED UPI.
The focus of this card is clear: to reward spends made within the CRED ecosystem, a sizeable pool considering how regularly members use CRED for bill payments, vouchers, and other products.
Unlike premium lifestyle cards, this is a straightforward rewards-first offering, designed for users who lean heavily towards online and digital payments. Apart from the standard fuel surcharge waiver, there aren’t additional lifestyle perks, keeping the card proposition simple and focused.

Bottom Line
Quite frankly, the CRED IndusInd Bank RuPay Credit Card falls short of the expectations one would have from a big brand like CRED. This might be because CRED is also preparing to launch its upcoming super-premium Sovereign Credit Card, which is expected to pack far more value.
The CRED IndusInd RuPay Card is a simple, straightforward product that offers up to 5% returns on spends made via CRED Travel, CRED Pay, CRED UPI, and e-commerce transactions. However, there’s a catch, this 5% reward rate can only be unlocked if you redeem your CRED Points for flights and hotels on CRED. Other redemption options deliver a noticeably lower value.
While the card does earn CRED Points on international transactions, the foreign exchange markup remains high, making it less appealing for overseas usage compared to other credit cards. On top of that, although the joining fee is nil, a ₹499 + GST annual fee applies from the second year onwards.
With no additional lifestyle perks, the CRED IndusInd Bank RuPay Credit Card is best suited for beginners starting their credit journey or for those who frequently use CRED UPI. For others, this card offers limited value.
