Different Methods to Block Your ICICI  Bank Credit Card

Customers can get their credit card blocked easily using provided procedures by the bank. If your card gets lost or stolen contact the bank immediately and block your credit card using any of the methods provided by the bank:

• Via NetBanking
• Via mobile application
• With phone Banking
• Through Visiting the Bank Branch

NetBanking:

Internet banking is the most comfortable way to your credit card blocked. Use your net banking account to block a card in only 3 steps:

Step 1: Visit ICICI Bank’s official website and log in to the net banking account with your login credentials.
Step 2: Visit the credit card section and select the block credit card option.

A pop-up notification will be sent on your device informing you about the successful card block.

Mobile Application:

After downloading the ICICI Mobile application, follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Open the ICICI banking app and log in to your account.
Step 2: Go to services and select Card Services.
Step 3: Now click on Block Credit Card and you will be shifted to a new page.
Step 4: Now click on the card you want to block and mention the reason behind the same.

Phone Banking:

ICICI Bank has also offered a phone banking option to cardholders to address their complaints or queries related to credit cards. In case, the cardholder lost their credit card then they can also use the phone banking method to get their credit card blocked. To do so, call on toll-free customer care number 1860-120-7777 between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and while following the steps given below:

Step 1: Call on the customer care toll-free number and validate your 4-digit Telephone Identification Number by entering it when asked by the IVR.
Step 2: Follow the further instructions provided by the IVR to block your ICICI Bank Credit Card.

ICICI  Bank Branch:

Customers can visit the nearest bank branch and make a request to block their credit card. If your credit card is lost or stolen you are required to report the same as soon as possible. Follow the following steps to block your credit card;

Step 1: Go to the nearest ICICI Bank branch & take the credit card block application from the counter.
Step 2: Fill out the form and submit.

How to Submit an ICICI Bank Credit Card Replacement Request?

You can submit the request for ICICI Bank credit card replacement either by calling customer care, visiting the nearest bank branch, through netbanking or by mobile banking. ICICI Bank charges a fee of Rs. 100 for credit card replacement. Follow the steps to submit the credit card replacement request:

Step 1: Log in to your net banking account from Mobile app or website.
Step 2: Go to customer service and select request service.
Step 3: Choose the credit card replacement and follow the instructions to request the card replacement.

After submitting the request, track your credit card replacement request by calling the customer care helpline number or by visiting the nearest bank branch. You can also track the status through netbanking or phone banking.
