Bank of Baroda cardholders can get their credit card blocked by sending the mail to this address [email protected] You will be required to mention your Bank of Baroda credit card details and the reason to request a card block. Alternatively, you also send mail to [email protected] to request a card block.
Through Branch Visit:
Bank of Baroda customers can visit the nearest branch of Bank of Baroda to request their card block. The customer need to fill and submit an application form with all the required documents and valid identity proof.
How to Report Loss/Theft/Misuse on your Bank of Baroda Credit Card?
Below are mentioned steps you can follow to get your Bank of Baroda credit card in case of loss/theft/ misuse.
Step 1: Firstly, you can contact the BOBCard Area officer in case your card is lost or stolen. The customers need to call 1800225100 or the All India Toll-free number to get their Bank of Baroda credit card blocked.
Step 2: The customer shall file an FIR for their lost credit card by visiting the nearest police station and submitting the respective copy to the bank.
Step 3: In addition to this, you must also register a complaint with the Cyber Crime cell and submit a copy of the same to the bank.
Step 4: In case of failure to block your card, the customer shall be liable for any fraudulent transactions reported on your Bank of Baroda credit card account.
Step 5: If by any chance, you recover your lost credit card, you shouldn’t use instead destroy it by cutting the magnetic stripe of the card.
How to Replace Your Bank of Baroda Credit Card
The replacement card shall be issued to the customer when the bank receives the report of the lost credit card. The cardholders can call customer care at 1800-225-100 to replace their credit card. The cardholder shall be required to provide information related to their credit card account. You shall be required to pay a replacement fee of Rs 100 on card replacement.
