American Express card issuer provides you four online methods through which you can clear the outstanding amount of your Amex credit card.

How to pay an American Express credit card bill using NEFT?

One of the online modes of American Express Credit Card bill payment is the National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT). You can clear your Amex credit card dues using this method, here are the steps you can follow for the NEFT fund transfer;

Step 1: For NEFT fund transfer you need to visit your bank and provide the following details for registering your credit card as a Payee.

Step 2: On providing the following details you can submit the payment amount to the bank in favor of your credit card for the NEFT fund transfer.
Note: If you are making the payment using Standard Chartered Online Banking then you do not require the IFSC Code. You can select the “Transfer to another SCB bank account” option to make the payment.

How to pay an American Express credit card bill using UPI?

You can simply make the credit card bill payment using the UPI mode of payment. You just need to log in through a UPI-enabled third-party app like BHIM-UPI. You can easily pay your American Express Card Bill by simply using the Amex Card Billdesk interface from anywhere and anytime at your convenience. Steps to follow to pay your American Express Credit Card Bill:
Step 1: Go to Amex Card BillDesk website.
Step 2: Provide your card details like American Express Card number twice, Mobile number, email id, and payment amount.
Step 3: Now select your Bank account and click on ‘Proceed to Pay’.
Step 4: Confirm your payment and you will receive the online confirmation for the same.

How to pay an American Express credit card bill using Direct Debit/NACH?

Another payment method that you can opt for is Direct Debit/NACH. To avail of this service, you need to download the required form depending upon how you would like to enroll in your American Express Credit Card.

For online Enrollment: You need to visit the e-Mandate Debit Enrollment webpage and enter your American Express Card number twice, mobile number, and email id. After entering all the details click on ‘Submit’.

For Paper-based Enrollment: Choose a form based on the type of American Express Card you own and download it from online links. You can either download Charge Card – Direct enrollment Form and Credit Card – Direct Debit enrollment form and carefully fill in all the details. After completing the form send it to the address: ‘American Express Banking Corp., Cyber City, Tower C, DLF City, Phase-II, Gurgaon- 122002’.

Corporate Cardmembers can also avail themselves of the Direct Debit services by enrolling their card. You need to download the Corporate Card – Direct Debit Enrolment form and fill in the required details carefully. After filing the form send it to the address: ‘American Express Banking Corp., Cyber City, Tower C, DLF City, Phase-II, Gurgaon – 122002’.

You can also clear your American Express Credit Card dues by drawing a cheque/draft in favor of “XYZ Card No. 37XXXXXXXXXXXXX” and send it to the American Express Office address: ‘Address Express Banking Corp., Cyber City, Tower C, DLF City, Phase-II, Gurgaon-122002, Haryana’.

How to pay an American Express credit card bill using Drop Boxes?

Another offline method you can go for is the DropBox. Go to the nearest DropBox and drop your cheque/draft in favor of ‘XYZ Card No. 37XXXXXXXXXXXXX’. Kindly drop your draft/cheque in dropbox 4 days prior to the bill due date.
