Block Standard Chartered Credit Card

Different Methods to block your Standard Chartered Bank Credit card:

The customers can block their Standard Chartered credit cards easily using provided methods by the bank. Immediately contact the bank and get your credit card blocked if it is lost and stolen by using one of the four methods given by Standard Chartered;

  • Through NetBanking
  • Through mobile application
  • Through Phone Banking
  • Through Visiting the Bank Branch

NetBanking:

Internet banking is the easiest way to block your credit card. You can use your net banking account to block a credit card in just 3 steps:

Step 1: First you need to visit the Standard Chartered Bank official website and log in to your net banking account using your user id and password.
Step 2: From the given options select ‘Help & Services’.
Step 3: Select the ‘Report Lost/stolen card’ from the Card Management section and follow the instructions given on the screen.

A pop-up notification will flash on your device screen notifying you about your card block and a replacement card will be sent to you through a post on your registered mailing address.

Mobile Application:

You will need to download the Standard Chartered mobile banking app and follow the below-given steps:

Step 1: Open the mobile banking app and log in to your account using internet banking login details.
Step 2: Click on Help & Services.
Step 3: Navigate to the card management section and click on Report Lost/Stolen Card.
Step 4: Follow the instructions displayed on the screen and your credit card will be blocked.

Once your credit card is blocked, the bank will send you the replaced credit card to your address.

Phone Banking:

Standard Chartered Bank has also provided a phone banking option to its customers to register their queries or complaints related to credit cards. If the credit cardholder lost their credit card then they can also use the phone banking method to get their credit card blocked. Get in touch with the bank by calling on toll-free customer care number 1800-345-1000 between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and follow the below-given steps.

Step 1: Call on the customer care toll-free number and validate your 4-digit Telephone Identification Number by entering it when asked by the IVR.
Step 2: Follow the further instructions provided by the IVR to block your Standard Chartered Credit Card.

Standard Chartered Bank Branch:

You can also visit the bank branch to submit your credit card block request. Follow the below-given steps;

Step 1: Visit the nearest Standard Chartered Bank branch and take the credit card block application from the counter.
Step 2: Fill the form and submit it to the bank branch.

How to request Standard Chartered Credit Card Replacement?

You can request credit card replacement online as well as offline. On choosing the offline mode, you can either contact customer care or visit the nearest bank branch to submit your credit card replacement. You can also submit the request by using netbanking services, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to Standard Chartered Bank’s official website and log in to your netbanking account.
Step 2: Navigate to Help & services and click on card management.
Step 3: Select Replace Card services and the card you wish to replace.
