SBI SimplyCLICK Credit Card Drops 10X Rewards on Swiggy Transactions

SBI SimplyCLICK Credit Card is one of the simplest and yet most popular card offerings. It is the perfect entry level credit card for beginners and novices. Part of the reason for its fame are the 10X Reward Points awarded for transactions made on Apollo 24×7, BookMyShow, Cleartrip,  Dominos, IGP, Myntra, Netmeds, Swiggy, and Yatra. These are all popular online merchants, especially amongst the youth. Starting from the 1st of April, the SBI SimplyCLICK Credit Card shall no longer offer 10X accelerated Reward Points for Swiggy transactions. This move is quite similar to the previous one, in which Amazon was also removed from the 10X Reward Point category.

Swiggy is one of the most popular online food ordering platforms in India. Customers using the SBI SimplyCLICK Credit Card could previously earn 10X Reward Points on transactions made through Swiggy. However, starting April 1st, this will change as the card will only offer the standard reward rate of 5X Reward Points for Swiggy transactions. Consequently, the list of partner online merchants will decrease from 9 to 8.

Recently, SBI SimplyCLICK added IGP to its list of merchants eligible for 10X Reward Points but has now removed Swiggy. Many customers may not have noticed this addition when it occurred on February 10, 2025. Some may have viewed it positively, but it has become apparent that SBI Card’s intention was to replace Swiggy with IGP in its rewards program.
