I guess it depends on the category of the products we buy. Mostly i buy alcohol for my friends.

Strange I have always found chocolates expensive at India duty free. Electronics are also expensive.

I realized that duty-free shopping is often cheaper in India compared to international airports. After comparing prices, I found that Indian duty-free stores not only have better rates, but they also run online store offers and promotions. On top of that, banks like Axis give additional cashback — and there’s no foreign exchange fee involved.

Whenever I return to an Indian airport, I always see sales staff trying to get people to shop. I used to ignore them, but now I know they’re actually offering some of the best deals.
