Earlier in 2025, several issuers, including SBI Card, removed air accident insurance from many popular credit cards. IndusInd Bank has now taken a similar step by discontinuing Air Accident Cover across all its credit cards from 21st December 2025. In addition, the bank has announced that its premium Celesta Credit Card will no longer come with a complimentary EazyDiner Prime membership from 10th December 2025.

This removal of Air Accident Cover was speculated for some time, as many users had received communication regarding the same.
Bottom Line
It seems that IndusInd Bank is gradually removing key features from its credit cards. Recently, the ITC Culinaire membership was withdrawn from a few cards, and now the Celesta Credit Card has lost its EazyDiner Prime membership. These changes clearly reduce the overall value cardholders receive.
Benefits like air accident insurance once offered an added sense of security, but banks now appear to be moving away from such covers. For now, it’s fair to say that these updates represent a loss in value for IndusInd Bank credit card customers.
