Kotak Mahindra Bank, in association with IndiGo, has recently launched two new airline credit cards, the IndiGo Kotak Credit Card and the IndiGo Kotak XL Credit Card. These cards are designed specifically for frequent IndiGo flyers, offering accelerated IndiGo 6E Rewards (BluChips) on spends made directly with the airline.

While both cards usually come with a joining fee, they are currently available as FYF for a limited period when applied for directly through the IndiGo website.
About the IndiGo Kotak Credit Card
The IndiGo Kotak Credit Card is a co-branded travel card by Kotak Mahindra Bank and IndiGo Airlines, made especially for people who often fly with IndiGo. It comes with an annual fee of ₹1,500 + GST and lets you earn IndiGo BluChips on your spending, which can be used to book IndiGo flights, seats, or add-on services.
However, the card doesn’t offer airport lounge access or travel insurance, which are common in premium travel cards. Still, it’s a good choice for regular IndiGo flyers who want to save on flights and earn rewards easily.
About The IndiGo Kotak XL Credit Card
The IndiGo Kotak XL Credit Card is the premium of the Kotak IndiGo Credit Cards, offering additional benefits like airport lounge access and a higher reward rate.
Cardholders can earn up to 21 BluChips per ₹100 spent on IndiGo bookings and enjoy 2 free domestic airport lounge visits every quarter. There are also milestone rewards that let you earn extra BluChips on high annual spending.
Bottom Line
Those interested in applying for the Kotak IndiGo Credit Cards can visit the official IndiGo website to apply and save on the joining charges. However, do note that these cards are available only as First Year Free (FYF) offers, which means annual fees will apply from the second year onwards.
