It is no secret that several changes were expected in the airport lounge access scene in India. This shift began when it was announced that Axis Bank and ICICI Bank would soon move away from DreamFolks, with lounge access being offered through Adani instead.

It was previously reported that free airport lounge access with Axis Bank Credit Cards had already been terminated, and ICICI Bank would follow soon. The company had announced, “This is to inform that the Company runs various programs for Axis Bank and ICICI Bank. Certain programs of the abovementioned clients have been closed w.e.f. July 01, 2025. However, we would like to also apprise that our contracts with above clients are still valid.”
As of now, airport lounge access with ICICI Bank Credit Cards via the DreamFolks Web Access portal is no longer working. The error code being displayed is 20405 when you try to add an ICICI Bank Credit Card.
Although it has been confirmed earlier by DreamFolks themselves that the partnership with ICICI Bank has ended, it is still unclear whether this is a temporary disruption or a permanent change, though it most likely appears to be permanent. Meanwhile, railway lounge access with ICICI Bank Credit Cards remains operational on the DreamFolks Web Access portal. The image below displays that railway lounge access for ICICI Bank Credit Cards (in this case, Coral Credit Card) is still operational.
Bottom Line
From the launch of the new Adani LoungeOne to the decline of an industry pioneer, the airport lounge access benefit has witnessed several changes and announcements in recent months. The latest development is the removal of ICICI Bank credit cards for airport lounge access via DreamFolks Web Access. Whether this change is permanent or temporary remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, cardholders of ICICI and Axis Bank can add their cards to the Adani LoungeOne platform to generate a digital access code for lounge entry. However, the list of lounges currently available on the Adani platform is fairly limited, although more are expected to be added in the near future.
Just yesterday Arun Bansal CEO of Adani Airport Holdings announced, “This is simple use of technology platform developed by our in-house Digital labs team and our aspiration to provide world class service to our consumers and move from “anxiety to excitement” We migrated couple of banks seamlessly and in coming months, we intend to migrate all banks and Card holders to our own platform.”
For convenience, it is best recommended that those intending to use airport lounges carry their physical credit cards and present them directly at the lounge. The process of adding cards to digital platforms and generating QR codes is proving to be more inconvenient than beneficial these days.
While one platform is struggling to manage relationships with issuers, the other still feels like a half-baked product. So, for the smoothest experience, carry your card and swipe it at the lounge the traditional way.

Depends on which card you have. But if your card has access you can swipe it even though it is missing from Adani One Lounge portal.
