We get to see new offers from the bank every other week and month. This time the bank is back with another offer for shopping lovers who like to pay back in parts. This time the HDFC Bank is offering 5X reward points for in-store or offline EasyEMI spends on Non-Electronics categories if you do the transaction with any HDFC credit card. With the Easy EMI feature, cardholders can purchase an item or in simple words, do any transaction with their card and pay back the transaction amount in parts by splitting them into equal installments. So if you use the HDFC EasyEMI feature a lot then this offer is made just for you. Though the offer is best suited for those who convert most of their transaction into Easy EMIs, now everyone can enjoy the benefit as you will get 5X RPs for every EMI transaction. The maximum capping as mentioned is 5000 Reward Points per card in a calendar month, so it is up to you how you plan your EMIs. Note that the EMI transactions on E-commerce websites and Electronics stores are not eligible under this offer. You will only earn reward points for offline EasyEMI transactions in the Non-Electronics categories.
How to avail of the offer?
To avail of the offer benefit just choose the EMI option while making a transaction at a store for a non-electronic purchase. You will start earning reward points for your Easy EMI spends.
Offer Terms & Conditions
- The offer is valid for only in-store (offline) EasyEMI spends made with HDFC Bank Credit Cards between the dates- July 05, 2022 and September 30, 2022.
- The reward points for the transaction done would be posted after 60 days.
- The offer is not applicable for returns, or for any unacceptable transactions.
- Convenience Fee of Rs. 199 plus GST will be applicable for EMI transactions on all HDFC credit cards.
- This offer is not applicable for Millenia and EasyEMI cardholders.

Bottom Line
Until now we only got to see offers on normal transactions but there was hardly any offer on EMI transactions. With this offer now you can earn tons of reward points for all your transactions that you convert for Easy EMIs. But do keep in mind the capping on the same and the way you plan your EMI structure because the offer will be valid till September 30, 2022 only. Also, except for the Millenia and EasyEMI cards, the offer would be applicable on all the HDFC Bank credit cards so that everyone can their hands on it.
