Processing Fee (Waived Later) ₹1,000
GST on Processing Fee (Not Waived) ₹180
Fee Waiver -₹1,000

Bottom Line

This offer is not particularly noteworthy and should only be considered by those who are already looking to convert their transactions into EMIs. The gift box offered is not very appealing, and the interest rate for EMI conversion is quite high. It is advisable for anyone interested in this offer to stick with a three-month EMI plan, or to avoid it altogether. Nevertheless, it is encouraging to see that American Express is still trying to remain relevant, even after pausing new applications.
