Experience at Cram Bar
The Experience
I was recently traveling to Dubai from Chandigarh and was waiting in the Cram Bar Lounge. We almost stayed in the lounge for an hour, and it was quite a comforting experience. Firstly, the lounge was less crowded due to the early hours of the morning. Then, complimentary food and drinks were available. The service was commendable, with the attendants being very lovely. The seating was comfortable for anybody who wanted to have a relaxing experience. Compared to other lounges, the Cram Bar is not that spacious, and when it is crowded with people, it feels claustrophobic.
Food and Drinks
At the Cram Bar, I enjoyed a variety of delicious drinks and food. They offer tea and coffee as part of the beverages. However, if you want cold drinks, you’ll need to pay for those separately, as they come in cans. When it comes to food, the options include tasty vegetarian dishes and eggs. You can find items like poha, sambar, idlis, scrambled eggs, and muffins on the menu. I tried everything, and each dish was enjoyable, except tea. The tea which was being served was not freshly brewed, but was a vending machine tea, which did not taste good at all. The buffet area was very small and cramped, and could not fit more than five people at a single time.
Seating
When you enter the Cram Bar, the sitting area is on the right side. It is not big, but enough to fit 50-60 people in one go. When you enter, you’ll find a mix of couches and chairs, providing a relaxed atmosphere for travelers. It’s not a large space, but it’s designed to offer a comfortable experience while you wait for your flight. The seating area has a good view of boarding gate two, so you can easily keep an eye on your flight and not miss it.
Final Impression
The Cram Bar Lounge at Chandigarh Airport is a comfortable spot for travelers. It is located just before the boarding gates, allowing you to relax before your flight. The lounge offers a good variety of free food and drinks. You can sit here and relax with free access to Wifi, magazines, etc.
