We are all accustomed to reading about one change or another to credit cards and debit cards. Starting October 1, 2024, ICICI Debit Cardholders shall be able to access airport lounges by spending ₹10,000 in the preceding calendar quarter. Spends made in the preceding quarter will unlock access for the subsequent quarter.
For example, to be eligible for complimentary lounge access in the October-November-December 2024 quarter, you need to spend a minimum of ₹10,000 in the July-August-September 2024 quarter.
Which ICICI Debit Cards Would Be Affected?
The following ICICI Bank Debit Cardholders would need to ensure that they make the required spends in the previous quarter to be eligible for airport lounge access in the next quarter. This shall be implemented from 1st October and shall apply to the following cards.

Bottom Line
Those with ICICI Bank Debit Cards will have to make quarterly spends of ₹10,000 on e-commerce and POS transactions to be eligible for airport lounge access. ATM transactions and cash withdrawals will not be considered for this eligibility. This will be implemented from October 1, 2024.
