Those familiar with American Express Credit Cards know the value and worth of Membership Rewards Points. However, not many are aware that AmEx cardholders can even purchase MR Points. That’s right; not only does one earn Membership Rewards Points for their spending, but they can also buy these points during times of need.
American Express cardholders can purchase MR Points in multiples of 1,000, up to a maximum of 10,000 MR Points each year. This purchase would cost the cardholder ₹400 for every 1,000 MR Points. The cost of the purchased Points will be charged to the cardholder’s AmEx Credit Card and shall appear in the following statement. American Express cardholders can purchase these points via chat or customer support. Purchased points shall be credited within 48 hours.
