American Express Credit Cards are among the most premium in the country. From the ultra-luxurious Platinum Charge to the high-end yet affordable Platinum Reserve, AmEx offers several rewarding options. One of the most valuable features of both these cards is the complimentary ALL Accor+ membership provided at no additional cost. This benefit allows cardholders to unlock exclusive dining privileges and valuable accommodation perks. However, with Accor announcing several changes to its membership program, the terms are bound to change for those memberships offered as complimentary with these AmEx cards.
Starting from 1st October 2025, the Accor Plus membership will undergo several changes and be revamped as ALL Accor+ Explorer. These changes will apply to both customers who purchase the membership and those who receive it as a complimentary benefit with credit cards.
American Express Platinum Charge and Platinum Reserve credit cardholders will continue to enjoy the existing benefits, such as up to 50% dining discount, and more, until 30th September 2025. From 1st October 2025, the new program structure and benefits will come into effect.

There are also changes in the vouchers that come with the membership. From 1st October 2025, the following two vouchers will no longer be offered:
- Complimentary room upgrade digital certificate
- Complimentary dessert digital certificate (when dining with four or more people)
However, members will continue to receive:
- One 40% Group Dining digital certificate (valid for 4 to 10 people) at participating Accor hotels in India
- One complimentary birthday cake digital certificate at select Accor hotels across India
Overall, the complimentary Accor membership provides good value. From high dining and hotel discounts, one can easily take advantage of several benefits throughout the year.
The changes mentioned above are valid for both Platinum Charge and Platinum Reserve Credit Cards.
Bottom Line
In some aspects, the Accor membership has become more rewarding, while in many others, it can be considered a devaluation.
While this membership may not be suitable for everyone, especially for those who have to purchase it, those holding the American Express Platinum Charge or Platinum Reserve Credit Card will continue to receive it complimentary with their respective cards till 30th September 2025. It is still unclear whether American Express will continue to offer this membership for new users after this date. However, those who have received and activated it by 30th September will be able to use the new revamped version starting from 1st October 2025.
