Accor is set to introduce several significant changes to the Accor Plus program starting October 2025. Although these updates are being positioned as enhancements, not all of them are necessarily positive.
The Accor Plus program will be renamed to the ALL Accor+ Explorer program. Right off the bat, there is one positive update: Accor Plus will now be required to provide a minimum of 30 calendar days’ notice before making any changes to the program’s terms.
To clear any confusion, these changes will apply to all members, whether you received your membership as a complimentary benefit through a credit card or purchased it outright. The rebranded program will be universally applicable. Let’s have a look at all the major changes.
BOGO on Stay Plus
Accor members previously enjoyed standalone StayPlus benefits, which allowed them to book one free night. This benefit has now been converted to a Buy One Get One offer, requiring one paid night booking to receive the free night.
Reduced Dining Discounts

The reduction in dining discounts from 50% to 30% is quite a downgrade, especially considering that most people dine in pairs. While the 30% discount applies to groups of up to 10, which may seem generous, the average diner rarely eats out in such large numbers, making this benefit feel largely wasted for most members.
Increase in Status Nights
Previously, 20 bonus Status Nights were offered upon joining or renewing the ALL Accor program. Starting from October 1st, 30 bonus Status Nights shall be made available upon joining or renewal (subject to a cap), which would provide Gold status in the ALL Accor program, a step up from the previous Silver status.
Increased Hotel Discount
Earlier, members received a 10% discount on public rates at hotels across the Asia-Pacific region. Now, under the revamped program, members will enjoy a 15% discount on the best available public rates at over 4,500 hotels across 27+ Accor brands globally, significantly expanding both the discount rate and geographic coverage.
Membership Has Gotten Costly
The price has been increased from ₹16,250 to ₹19,499, reflecting an 18% rise.

Just recently, Accor was actively promoting its Plus membership by offering bonus points, and now, drastic changes have been made to the program.
Accor remains one of the most sought-after hotel loyalty programs for stays in India and across the Asia-Pacific region. Many premium credit card holders receive this membership as a complimentary benefit, enjoying exclusive perks on stays and dining.
With the transition from Accor Plus to ALL Accor+ Explorer, several key changes have been introduced. Even though the stay and dining benefits have taken a hit, it would be unfair to label this shift as a straightforward devaluation or revaluation. The true value of the program now depends on individual usage and preferences.
